Just finished studying. I always knew that the Apple terminal is close to a Linux terminal, though today, I found out just how close they are to each other. I never thought I’d be able to use a text editor on Apple or for it to take Linux commands so easily. I just thought that was pretty interesting.
I’d like it to snow, but I’m not sure I want to deal with the snow. I love everything that has to do with cold weather… except cold weather. I love our wood pellet stove and seeing the fire. Having hot chocolate and wearing sweaters. Walking around and seeing Christmas decorations. And taking pictures of Christmas trees. I do that each year. Whenever I see a Christmas tree, I will take a picture of it. I have taken a few pics of Christmas trees this year. I keep meaning to share my Christmas tree collection, yet I never do. There are some lovely trees. Now that we are on Christmas, I need to start thinking about cookies and what cookies we will bake this year. I don’t want to go crazy. I have a folder on my computer named ‘cookies’ to save the recipes I’d like to make. Kel wants to try rum balls. Ok, I have never heard of rum balls before. I studied a few recipes, and it doesn’t look hard. Maybe coconut rum balls? She also wants to make pumpkin pecan cookies. Another cookie I hadn’t heard of. I’m pretty old-school when it comes to Christmas cookies. Gingerbread and, of course, chocolate chip, oatmeal, and peanut butter cause those are my favorites. But making some pumpkin or pumpkin-pecan cookies would be an excellent way to use up our frozen pumpkin pureé. We roasted a lot of pie pumpkins this year.
I probably should think about Christmas dinner also. Maybe try not to have it look like Thanksgiving 2.0. Maybe. We’ll see.
Look at this compact heater. It’s cute, but I don’t like the price. Where would it fit on my desk? Yes, I was looking at heaters. I procrastinate a lot when I’m journaling.
