I’m always busier at the end of the day when I try to write here. Write? Type? Anywho, I studied today and waited for the medical people to come and pick up the oxygen machine cause I no longer need it.
I have barely started on my Christmas cards, and it is the middle of December. Ever have so much in your head, but you don’t have the energy to write it down? Yeah, that is me right now. The other day I almost got scammed. I was at the library and received a text saying someone had tried to use my card. And that a representative would call me shortly. Well, they called, but when they started asking questions to verify my identity, I began to feel something wasn’t right. So I hung up. Then I called my bank and waited a half hour for an actual representative. I talked to the bank, and they said they would never text me about charges and that it was a scam, just like I thought. I had no fraud charges on my card, but I closed that card to be safe. I can’t believe I almost fell for this scam. I’m smarter than that. It goes to show that you need to be careful out there. If you ever get a call from someone saying they are from your bank about fraud charges, hang up and call the bank yourself. This is what I should have done, to begin with… contact my bank first.
I need to help with dinner, and Kel should be home soon. Until next time…
