I’m mentally drained. In coding, my project is to build a product landing page. A giant advertisement for a product. I’m doing the example again cause I have no idea what product to advertise. Today was a long day, and yet it shouldn’t have been. The day started this morning with Lexi’s doctor’s appointment. I believe she had already picked up her medication. I will have to ask. She and her friends want to try out the new Blake’s Lottaburger in town, but the line was so long that they went to the next town over to get Blake’s. I took a nap today after the appointment cause I only had 5 hours of sleep. Then I drove Lexi to her friend’s house down the road. Then I coded until I had to go dinner shopping. We have spaghetti tonight.
Karissa doesn’t get a Spring Break. The community college got rid of Spring Break. I think that is messed up. They deserve a break.
Ya know, my keyboard is loud. It’s definitely not a blue switch keyboard, but this thing is loud—Clackity clack. It’s not like I just noticed. I wish sometimes it was a little quieter. I hate being loud. However, I do like the sound of the keyboard. It reminds me of a typewriter, which is what I learned to type. I just dated myself there. Next, I’ll say that I have used a rotary phone before.
I don’t think I’ve posted here for a few days. Last Thursday, we went up and picked Lexi up from school. That was a six-hour drive in total. So we were on the road most of the day. We made it home around 7:30p. On Friday, Kel and I ran some errands—shopping and getting oil in Tommy’s truck, packing for the weekend. Alex had his hockey tournament in Colorado. We got to Colorado for the 7p game. Saturday, there was one game in the morning, and then we had the rest of the day just sitting around in the hotel room. I watched YouTube and played on my Switch. StarDew Valley, Bravely Default II, and Animal Crossing. Sunday, there was a game in the morning. Later we went shopping for lunch and started on our way back home. We got home around 4:30, I think.
The water for the pasta is boiling, but Kel and Tom aren’t home yet. It takes a while for the water to boil up here. The water doesn’t get as hot because of our elevation.
My brain is drained, and I can’t develop anything remotely intelligent to discuss.
