My headphones died, so I’m charging them. This should take a half hour, and then back to watching videos. I’ve been reading all day and have finished Beach Read. It was a fun read, a feel-good story. It feels less like a story revolving around relationships and more like a story focusing on individuals who come together and heal together. The mood of this book was all over the place. It went from a light ‘beach read’ to dark and severe.
Not sure what my next book is. I have a few to choose from. Legends and Lattes, Love Hypothesis and The Time Keeper. My sister-in-law liked the last one, so I thought I’d try it.
I’m making pancit right now—my comfort food as a kid. Now I’m making it for Tommy’s lunch this week.
Got my hair cut yesterday. I like it. It isn’t that short, but I got the damaged hair off, which makes me happy. I did not take a pic of it. I don’t know; I don’t like to take my picture. I have never felt comfortable with my picture taken. And I know I will have my pic taken during the cruise. /sigh
The cruise is almost here! And so is Tommy’s graduation! So many exciting things are coming this month—and Karissa’s birthday while we are on the cruise.
The only sad day this month will be May 31st when my dad died. I miss him. I wish he were here and could share all this stuff with him.
