I just filed my nails. I haven’t done so in so long. Usually, I just cut them all off, but I decided to take care of my nails for once and make them look pretty. They are still short cause long nails break. And typing with long nails is a pain. I have nail polish; I may paint them later.
I am trying to remember what I did on Friday. I know I was coding. I don’t know what else I did. Saturday, we rested cause Tommy wasn’t feeling too well. Sunday, we went to tea and then went to a friend’s house for gaming. We played a few board games. It was fun. The tea’s theme was Alice in Wonderland. Next month is Winnie the Pooh. I still had fun.
This weekend we are celebrating Tommy’s birthday and then Father’s Day. I don’t know when we are celebrating my birthday since we may go to a ballgame on my birthday weekend. Or Tom and the boys may go? I need clarification on what is going on. Karissa got me a birthday present. It came in the mail today but was in clear packaging instead of a box. I still couldn’t tell what it was, but I had an idea. I gave it to Karissa, who wasn’t happy about the transparent packaging, and she ensured I didn’t get a good look at it.
I need to make dinner here soon. Mediterranean Chicken.
The plumber came this morning to get the swamp cooler ready for hotter weather. I have it on ‘low cool’ right now. It feels nice in the house. I honestly have a love/hate relationship with the swamp cooler. It’s nice in the summer. However, it gets so cold in the house! Even in the summer I will wear long sleeves in the house.
The electrician came around 3:30. A switch broke in the bathroom, so that we couldn’t turn the light off. It seemed like an easy fix, though we rent, so having the landlord take care of it was better.
I finished laundry, so it hasn’t been a bad Monday. Got some stuff done today. Karissa registered for her Fall classes. She isn’t happy that she has to take a prerequisite math class before the class she wants to take, but it happens. Did a few things on the computer this morning. Checked on my health insurance application…they are still reviewing it. I’ve had to reschedule a few doctor appointments due to the fact that I don’t have health insurance. For the past nine years my insurance has renewed automatically. But for some reason, this year it didn’t happen. So I renewed it over the phone. Now I wait.
