Happy December! This is such a busy month. I’d love to keep this month low-key. We haven’t really planned anything for Christmas dinner yet. We are throwing in ideas but nothing set in stone. I should plan on what cookies we are going to make. I will ask around on what kind of cookies everyone would like and go from there. I keep forgetting to get some Christmas cards so I can fill them out.
LeeAnn’s brother gave me LeeAnn’s address.. and I believe it is the same address as when I last spoke to her. I’m thinking of sending a Christmas card. But I haven’t spoken to her in so long that it feels a little weird. But I guess it would not be a bad thing to send a Christmas card.
I’ve been working on this Palindrome checker for JavaScript for two weeks. Not sure if it really works. I’m still confused. But I think it is ok.
Last weekend Tommy and I worked on the garage. It is still a work in progress but we have made a lot of progress in cleaning it out. One thing I notice about cleaning… things become more messy than it was before we started, before it starts to look clean. I think that is the overwhelming part of cleaning. Things are out and it looks messier. Decluttering can do that. Be overwhelming. I think it’s more overwhelming for Tommy cause its his stuff in the garage. I’d like to clean the closet in the bedroom but I feel overwhelmed cause it’s my stuff. On one hand, I can get rid of some things. On another hand, some of the stuff is sentimental and I’d hate to let go of it. Like my stuffed animals and scrapbooking stuff. I also have a lot of small souveniers I could probably put into an album or something. I want to make a recipe album with my grandma’s recipe cards but I never get to starting that project.
Tommy and I also made a few trips to Harbor Frieght, Home Depot and Tractor Supply. I can’t say those are my favorite places to go but it wasn’t that bad. I like the Christmas displays at Home Depot. Although the tall Santa Clause was a bit disturbing. We also went over to Costco for some shopping. We only had dog and cat food on the list, though we bought a lot more. Somehow it always ends up that way at Costco. We did get some lunch stuff. I love the loaves of bread we got. I think that is the hardest part about trying to stay good in a diet is bread. I like bread too much. Lol.
Alex stayed home today from school. I think he ate too much crap over the weekend and messed up his stomach. Hopefully it’s that and not a bug going around. Cause that would just suck.
I picked up some weights last night while cleaning the garage. So now I have back spasms. I knew that I shouldn’t have picked them up but I was trying to help. Yoga helped my back a bit today. Riding the bike was a bit hard but I did it.
I need to do my nails. Not sure if I want to cut them or just file them a bit to leave the length as is.
