Again, I’m writing in the morning. If I write a little here and there during the day, I will feel more relaxed to write at the end of the day. I did start writing yesterday but got busy with other things that took me away from my computer.
Today, I am taking on the challenge of coding an etch-a-sketch. I had difficulty focusing on Monday due to anxiety, and I was away from my computer yesterday, but I am determined to make progress today.
Yesterday, I accompanied Karissa to her doctor’s appointment. The appointment did not go as planned, as the doctor wants to do bloodwork on Karissa to rule out a few things. Karissa is doing alright; she and her sister seem to be going through the same thing. Alexis joined us, and we stopped by a local coffee shop to get some matcha tea. After the doctor’s appointment and coffee shop visit, we took Alexis home and Karissa to her hair appointment. Later, Kel and I went to Kel’s parent’s house to drop off some medication while Karissa was getting her hair done. We all stopped at Walmart to pick up my and Karissa’s medication.
I must remember to call BlueCross later to discuss Karissa’s health insurance. Fortunately, she also has Medicaid, which assisted with covering her recent doctor’s appointment. It’s frustrating because I contacted her insurance last month and still need to receive her medical card.
Meanwhile, O’Malley is snoozing under my desk, so I must watch my step and not disturb him. He likes to spend his day under my desk. So, I’m always careful about where my feet are.
I’m a bit frustrated with the etch-a-sketch code. I’m considering calling BlueCross to discuss Karissa’s insurance, but I’m debating whether I should take a break. Alexis has a doctor’s appointment in another town tomorrow, so I’ll be away from the computer for a while. I should make lunch soon because I’m starting to feel pretty hungry.
Ok, I contacted BlueCross and discovered that although Karissa is part of the family plan, her coverage doesn’t include doctor visits. I just want to know the purpose of health insurance if it doesn’t cover doctor visits?! It’s frustrating, so Karissa has reapplied for BlueCross to see if she can be covered along with her government Medicare. Dealing with insurance companies can be quite a hassle.
Tomorrow, I will be away from the computer for a bit while we take Alexis to her doctor’s appointment. I need to fill the pill boxes. This weekend, we are going to a friend’s house for a board game day, so that will be fun.
