Monday night. August 26
We just checked in our bags and breezed through TSA, making it the most effortless security check I’ve ever experienced. Currently seated at our gate, I’m gazing out the window, eagerly awaiting our airplane’s arrival while observing other planes take off and land.
Later that evening, on the flight to Seattle, I watched the romantic comedy Crazy Rich Asians. It was an enjoyable film. However, due to sheer exhaustion upon reaching the hotel, I ended up dozing off on the flight to Vancouver.
Tuesday night. August 27
We covered nearly 6 miles today, traveling by train and bus and exploring the marina. Vancouver is truly a beautiful city. We had a delightful meal at a restaurant called Dan Dan Noodles. The food was delicious with a hint of spiciness, although it was a bit pricey. Later, we stopped at Costco to experience the unique offerings at the Canadian location. For dinner, we tried poutine, which was quite enjoyable. Currently, I am writing and browsing Facebook while my hearing aids are charging. I’m going to repack my toiletries and backpack later.
Oh! I went to the Hello Kitty Cafe today! It was so cool. Tommy bought me the cutest hat! <3 Tomorrow, we will be heading onto the ship to Alaska. I tried to upload some pics but WordPress is having a hard time, so I'm going to put pics up on Facebook and I will try again to get pics in my journal while on the ship.
