The ocean is a little choppy today, causing the ship to sway gently. This morning, we enjoyed a delicious breakfast at the International Cafe. I ordered a ham and egg burrito along with a fruit salad. We planned to take care of the laundry today, so Kel was in the laundry room while Tommy and I were unwinding in the Explorer’s Lounge with our laptops. Perhaps we’ll indulge in a game of Magic the Gathering later. It’s nice and peaceful here.
Halfway through doing the laundry, Tommy and I took over so Kel could rest. The sea is quite rough today. While in the laundry room, Tommy had to troubleshoot the token machine as its app crashed and returned to the Windows screen. We joked that Princess Cruises should consider paying him for his tech support. After finishing the laundry, Tommy returned the clothes to our room because the bags were too heavy for me. We then let Kel nap while heading to Alfredo’s Pizza for lunch. It took about half an hour to get our pizza due to the short staffing. I hope the crew isn’t unwell because of the ship’s movement.
Following our lunch, we returned to the room and found Kel awake and organizing the laundry. I began sorting and folding the second bag of laundry while Tommy took a rest. With the laundry done, I am enjoying some videos on my laptop. Kel is relaxing while watching “The Princess Bride,” and Tommy is napping.
We all spent some extra time in our rooms while waiting for dinner. I enjoyed the tenderloin and peach melba for dessert. As Tommy wasn’t feeling well, we returned to our room while Kel stayed behind for a drink. I ordered hot tea for Tommy and a cappuccino for myself. We watched football and an episode of The Love Boat. Kel has now returned to the room and is getting ready for bed. I’ll be heading to bed shortly as well.
