Happy Friday! I’ve been working on my project all morning. I encountered some difficulty in displaying images on my page. It seemed that the pictures wouldn’t show up when I placed them in the image folder. I suspected that I might have been incorrectly specifying the URL. However, I used some pictures from the site, and that worked. I also had trouble getting the text to display beneath the image; it kept showing up next to the image. After some effort, I finally resolved that issue.
Currently, I’m trying to figure out why my footer section isn’t behaving as per the CSS instructions. I must be doing something wrong.
Upon reviewing my HTML and CSS, I realized that I had a “footer” class in my CSS but no corresponding footer class in my HTML. I made the necessary changes to the HTML by adding a footer class. I also worked on the link. There was a lot of back and forth between the HTML and CSS files. It was challenging, but I enjoyed the process.
I’m sorry to hear that Alex has been laid off from his job. It’s unfortunate that this happened just before he would have been eligible for benefits at Walmart. This does suck. He’s busy now looking for a new job.
As for The Odin Project, we’ve now progressed to variables and operators as we delve into JavaScript. I must admit that I’m feeling a bit nervous about this part. While I grasp many concepts related to JavaScript, I still find it confusing at times. I’m hoping I will have a better understanding of JavaScript here.
It’s later in the evening. I’m watching Tommy play a new video game. It’s called “Metaphor: ReFantazio.” It’s from the creators of “Persona 5.” I can see the similarities. It’s getting late so I will post this now.
