Happy Monday! I had therapy this morning at 10, and since then, my day seems to be moving along quite quickly. I completed my project and submitted it, and I feel that I did fairly well. Currently, I am beginning a course in Advanced HTML. I admit I’m a bit nervous about it, but I think it will be enjoyable.
In an unexpected turn of events, Alex is actually cleaning his room. I’m not really surprised by it; it’s just that no one asked him to do it. Of course, I’m half-joking here. Just now, I saw him walk past the office with the vacuum.
On Friday night, Tommy and I headed to Lexi’s school, which we actually went in the next town over since there were no available rooms in the town where her school is located. We arrived around 9 to 9:30 p.m. and stopped at a Mexican restaurant for dinner. Although Tommy initially considered ordering something different than his usual, he ultimately changed his mind at the last moment. The next morning, we enjoyed breakfast at the hotel before leaving to pick Lexi up. She brought along a laundry bag filled with clothes, suggesting she had some laundry to do. Which reminds me that we need more laundry soap pods. On our way home, we stopped at the same Mexican restaurant for lunch, where Tommy did try something new this time. I opted for street tacos.
We arrived home on Saturday around 3 PM. While Tommy took a nap, I spent some time on my computer. It has been experiencing some issues lately; occasionally, it struggles to “wake up” after going “asleep.” Additionally, when I turn it off, it can be difficult to power back on. I’m uncertain about the cause of these problems. Currently, however, my computer has been functioning well. It woke up this morning without any issues and has not caused me any trouble today. Since I’m using my laptop for coding, I’ve been attentive to keeping it “awake.”
On Sunday, I prepared green chile stew, making two pots so we can have it for dinner tonight as well. Tommy took a look at my computer to determine the issue, which could be several things. We were able to rule out the power supply as a potential problem. I also started working on our Christmas cards by creating some address labels. Tommy crafted photo cards, and we picked them up at Walmart. I really like them! While I’m not entirely thrilled that there’s a picture of me on the cards, it’s not too bad. I love the girls’ pictures, and Tommy’s photo card turned out quite nicely as well.
I have some clothes to put away, so I’ll take care of that after posting this. Later, I need to print the labels for the Christmas cards and begin working on the Christmas menu. I also haven’t written in my planner today, which is unusual since I typically check it every day. I’ve been slacking lately.
