We’re currently experiencing occasional snow showers and strong winds. It’s quite chilly outside, so I just enjoyed a warm cup of tea to help me warm up. I also have the heater running in the office. While I doubt the snow will accumulate, I’m still excited to see it falling. Snow has a way of transforming the world into a magical, serene wonderland. Its gentle fall softens the edges of everything it touches, creating a cozy, intimate atmosphere.
Indeed, I find myself with little else to discuss, so I will share my thoughts on snow. This weekend promises to be quite busy. We will be taking Alexis back to school on either Friday or Saturday. It’s been lovely having her home, especially as she prepares for her final semester of college. By preparing, I’m talking about watching anime and hanging out with her friends. Well, she did order her books today. On Sunday, we’ll be heading over to a friend’s house to watch football.
Earlier this morning, I visited the store to buy ingredients for dinner, along with some beans for tomorrow night’s meal. For tonight, we’re having air fryer chicken sandwiches, and tomorrow we’ll have carne adovada and beans. I plan to prep the chicken shortly. I’m waiting for Karissa to finish the day dishes that she is currently doing.
Merlin is lying down in the office while Karissa does the dishes. I should start reading again. I haven’t even looked at the book awards yet to see what book won for best book of 2024. I will do that tonight.
