I chose not to reveal our plans for the weekend because I wanted to surprise Alexis. Last night, Tommy and I drove up to her school and arrived at our hotel around 9 PM. We caught the end of the World Series and relaxed for a little while before heading to bed. This morning, we enjoyed breakfast and studied a bit before the campus library opened.
This morning, Alexis was at work, so she visited the library afterward. Currently, she is doing laundry and tackling her homework. We plan to see her later for dinner. I’m working on an Etch A Sketch project, and everything is progressing well with the HTML and CSS. However, once I began the JavaScript, things took a turn for the worse. The Etch A Sketch functions, but the ‘reset button’ seems to have disappeared. I’m trying to figure out how to resolve that issue right now.
I think Tommy and I could use some coffee right now. Unfortunately, there aren’t any options nearby. Einstein Bros in the library is closed on Saturdays. I have a drink from Taco Bell that we had for lunch, but I haven’t had any coffee today. While I can go without it on some days, today I feel like I need a cup. I think coffee provides me with psychological comfort and a mental break.
I should get back to coding. Lexi is going to pick where we are going for dinner tonight.
