I am currently focused on making the project website responsive. While the concept seems straightforward, it can feel a bit overwhelming at times. I’m taking the time to check every detail and resizing the browser window to identify the necessary changes for responsiveness. I’m feeling a bit sad that this marks the end of the HTML lesson. The next course is JavaScript, which is the area where I really need assistance. I find myself missing HTML.
As for my desk, it is still holding up. It did tilt a bit more this morning but remains standing, which is fortunate since I can still use it. However, I’m a bit puzzled about what’s actually supporting it. I suspect it’s the drawers that are providing some stability for the leaning part of the desk.
I’ve been on hold with the health department for Karissa’s Medicaid for over an hour. I’m just here, listening to the elevator music, while coding. It can be a bit distracting. We haven’t received the mail I need from the Social Security office yet so I need an extension for the Medicaid. I wonder how long I will be on hold until an agent answers the phone. I already talked to a representative. I’m just waiting for a case worker now.
I finally managed to get through and had the entire situation explained to me. Karissa receives her health care through her Social Security disability, which means she won’t qualify for Medicaid since she’s already covered by Social Security. However, if she ever needs to pay for her Social Security health care, she can apply for Medicaid to help cover those costs. As a result, I no longer need the letter from Social Security. It’s all quite confusing, which is what I relayed to the person on the phone, and he took the time to clarify it for me.
It’s later in the day and of course, time for my anxiety to come up. This is so annoying. I feel so paranoid right now. I don’t know what to do. I’m going to make myself some hot tea and hopefully that will work. It only made it up to 35 degrees today and the wind chill is pretty cold. I’m just noticing now that my monitor is lopsided. Haha!
