I had my mammogram and ultrasound this afternoon. All tests came out great. I had a feeling it would, though a small part of me wondered. So I’m happy. I’m also delighted to receive my Consular Report of Birth Abroad in the mail today. It took five months to get this. So now I can get my real ID and my passport. I was able to get my passport before I got my report of birth abroad because I have two old passports. But it is good to have my report of birth abroad. And for those that don’t know, I was born in the Philippines on a U.S. Naval Base. Much of my family lives in the Philippines.
So now that I have that, I’m excited about the cruise we are going on in May. Still nervous, though. What do I bring? Can’t I wear a nice shirt and pants for formal night? I guess I can go dress shopping. Our cruise is to Alaska. I’ve never been to Alaska. My dad has, so I have seen pictures and of course what you see on tv and in the movies. To be there in person will be a whole other story. I kind of know what to expect, thanks to the many YouTube videos I’ve watched about cruises. I can’t wait to try all the food! And take pictures.
I never know how to end a journal entry. I feel like it’s always abrupt.
