Thanksgiving week! This week will be busy. Mostly of cooking sides and baking before Thursday. Lexi comes home tomorrow! I’m so excited to see her. Wednesday, Kel, Tom and I are going over to a friend’s house for a ‘Friendsgiving.’ So I will have Thanksgiving dinner a day before Thanksgiving. 🙂
I think for this holiday season I will focus on maintaining my weight and not so much losing weight. Especially with all the food and treats we will be eating, it may be hard to lose the weight. Then once the holidays are over I can go back to losing weight. Right now I’m at 145. Ya know, I don’t have a weight goal in mind. I’m thinking 120 will be my goal. That seems good, right? I’m 4’11 so I think being at 120 will be good. I lose weight at such a slower pace than Tom or Kel. It sometimes feels hopeless that I will lose weight. But I am losing the pounds. So that is a plus.
I may or may not be listening to Christmas music. Ok, I’ve already started listening to Christmas music. I like Christmas music. It’s that time of year where people Google the Santa Tracker to follow Santa on his journey of delivering presents. What could be so bad about that? Christmas music means that soon I will be baking cookies and that means gingerbread cookies! Yes, it’s all about the cookies. Christmas music, cookies and taking pictures of Christmas trees. I have so many pictures of Christmas trees that I have come upon.
Merlin has a new bed. It’s huge. It’s a huge round pillow. I think he likes it.
Have you ever watched someone play with those virtual reality headsets? They stand in the middle of the room randomly moving, jumping and flailing about. I like to pull hair and then run. Then watch as they are trying to figure out what just happened and who did it. You have to be careful because I’ve gotten accidentally hit before doing that. But it’s worth it to pull the kids’ hair after the crap they give you.
Time for more tea…
Oh, and palindromes in JavaScript is not easy.
And lastly, I need to get Christmas cards started. Cause I’m always late.
JavaScript notes…

Return true if the given string is a palindrome. Otherwise, return false.
A palindrome is a word or sentence that’s spelled the same way both forward and backward, ignoring punctuation, case, and spacing.
Note: You’ll need to remove all non-alphanumeric characters (punctuation, spaces and symbols) and turn everything into the same case (lower or upper case) in order to check for palindromes.
We’ll pass strings with varying formats, such as racecar, RaceCar, and race CAR among others.
We’ll also pass strings with special symbols, such as 2A3*3a2, 2A3 3a2, and 2_A3*3#A2.
function palindrome(str) { return true; } palindrome("eye");
